Michael Burns is a member of both the Florida and Georgia bars and has affiliations with numerous councils and committees. Michael has served as an adjunct law professor at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and is an operating board member for the Florida Tax Institute. Michael is a frequent speaker on tax and estate planning techniques and has authored numerous articles that have been published nationally.
John J. (Jeff) Scroggin is a member of both the Florida and Georgia bars and has affiliations with numerous councils and societies in the Atlanta area. Jeff has been selected for inclusion in Georgia Super Lawyers annually since 2009 and named a Five Star Wealth Advisor by Atlanta Magazine. He is the founding editor of the NAEPC Journal of Estate and Tax Planning and is a former co-editor of CCH’s Practical Estate Planning. U.S. News & World Report recognized Jeff on its Best Lawyers in America list in 2018 and 2019. In 2017, the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) inducted Jeff into the Estate Planning Hall of Fame as the 105th inductee. Jeff is the author of over 260 published articles and is a nationally recognized speaker.
