Melissa Bandaru

Office Administrator

Melissa has served as Office Administrator since August 2022. She is the first point of contact for clients and visitors and keeps daily operations running smoothly. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys life in East Cobb with her husband and two children.

Lauryn Sterrett

Paralegal

Lauryn Sterrett joined Scroggin & Burns LLC as a Paralegal in December 2022, bringing vibrant energy and an exceptional level of care to the firm. Lauryn earned her Paralegal Certificate from Kennesaw State University in 2019, establishing a strong foundation for her legal career.

She plays a vital role in supporting the firm’s attorneys across estate planning, probate, and real estate matters. Known for her empathetic approach, Lauryn ensures every client experiences warm, clear communication during sensitive legal transitions.

Outside of the office, Lauryn is married and enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their son.

Kay Ruffini

Accountant

Since 2015, Kay has overseen the financial operations at Scroggin & Burns LLC. Kay efficiently manages all accounting-related matters, ensuring seamless financial management and dedicated support for both our team and our clients.

Kay and her husband, Steve, live in the North Georgia mountains where they love to hike, kayak and entertain. They have two children and five grandchildren.
